Coverage

The whole network, not just your line

Five rail systems and the BRT, sharing one map, one planner and one fare checker — so a trip that crosses three operators still feels like one trip.

KRL Commuter Line112 stations

The backbone of Jabodetabek — eight lines radiating from Jakarta to Bogor, Depok, Bekasi, Tangerang and Rangkasbitung.

MRT Jakarta13 stations

North–south across the city, from Lebak Bulus to Bundaran HI in about half an hour — no traffic, ever.

LRT Jabodebek18 stations

Driverless light rail linking Dukuh Atas with Bekasi and Cibubur, gliding above the congestion.

LRT Jakarta6 stations

Kelapa Gading to Velodrome across North and East Jakarta — one flat fare, any pair of stations.

KA Lokal18 stations

Local trains beyond the metro area: Pangrango (Bogor–Sukabumi) and Siliwangi, hills and all.

Transjakarta94 corridors

Every BRT corridor and stop in the city, woven into the same planner and map as the rail network.

Features

Everything a commute needs, nothing it doesn’t

Sixteen tools, one calm interface. Each one exists because a real Jakarta commute asked for it.

Departure boards

The next trains from any station, on every mode — destinations, platforms and departure times from the published timetables.

Journey planner

Fastest route across lines and modes, with transfers, walking legs and total travel time calculated for you.

Fare checker

What will this trip actually cost? Real published tariffs for KRL, MRT and both LRT systems — checked in two taps.

Interactive map

Real track geometry for every line, station callouts that never hide the line, and your own location on the map.

Nearby stations

GPS finds your closest stations and how far they are — the fastest way to start a trip you didn’t plan.

Pin your stations

Home, office, campus — pin the stations you live by and their next departures are always one glance away.

Train reminders

Set an alarm for your train and Commute wakes you in time — reminders survive reboots and dead batteries revived.

Station guides

Facilities, exits and facts for 138 stations, so you know which end of the platform to wait at.

Transjakarta routes

All 94 BRT corridors with their stops, ready to combine with a train leg in a single journey.

Offline-first

Schedules, fares and map data live on your phone. Underground, in a tunnel, out of signal — Commute still works.

Kommy AI assistant

Ask about any trip in plain language — “last train from Sudirman to Depok?” — and get an answer in chat.

Community

Posts, tips and station wisdom from fellow riders: the platform secret, the quiet carriage, the fastest transfer.

Ride tracking

Start a ride and follow your progress along the line, station by station, until it’s time to get off.

Dark & light themes

A calm light theme for the platform glare and a proper dark theme for the late train home.

Our promise

Honest data, or no data

Transit apps are trusted with people’s mornings. Commute would rather show a gap than a guess.

📋 Published timetables

Every departure comes from the operators’ published schedules — the same times posted on the platform boards.

🏷️ No invented prices

If a fare isn’t published anywhere, the fare checker says “not published” — it never makes up a number to look complete.

🧭 Estimates are labelled

When Commute estimates something — a walk, a wait, a position — it says “estimated” right next to it. No quiet fiction.

Fare checker

Know the fare before you tap in

Real pairs, real published prices. Pick any two stations and Commute answers from the official tariff — here’s a taste:

Manggarai → Bogor
KRL Commuter Line · 44,9 km
Rp 5.000
Jakarta Kota → Bogor
KRL Commuter Line · 54,8 km
Rp 6.000
Lebak Bulus → Bundaran HI
MRT Jakarta · the full line
Rp 14.000
Velodrome → Pegangsaan Dua
LRT Jakarta · flat fare, any pair
Rp 5.000
How KRL fares work: the official distance tariff — Rp 3.000 for the first 25 km, then Rp 1.000 for each additional 10 km. MRT prices come from its published fare table, LRT Jakarta is a flat Rp 5.000 for any pair, and LRT Jabodebek publishes peak, off-peak and holiday tables. Commute mirrors them all — and tells you plainly when a table isn’t published.

Interactive map

A map that draws the railway as it really runs

No straight-line doodles: Commute draws every line from its real track geometry on a clean basemap, so the curve your train takes is the curve you see.

Real polylines, every line

KRL, MRT, KA Lokal and even the Whoosh line are drawn from actual track geometry — bends, branches and all.

Callouts that stay out of the way

Zoom in and station names appear as pills on a short leader line, placed on whichever side of the track is emptiest — never covering the line or another station.

You, on the map

Your location sits alongside the stations, and the map can fly to you the moment you open it.

Offline network diagrams

The classic line diagrams are stored on your phone too — the whole network, readable in a tunnel.

Commute Premium

Commute Premium is an optional subscription that supports development and unlocks premium extras. Schedules, fares and the planner stay free — that’s the deal, and it doesn’t change.

FAQ

Fair questions

Is Commute free?
Yes. Departure boards, the fare checker, the journey planner, the map and reminders are free, forever. An optional Commute Premium subscription supports development and unlocks premium extras — the essentials never move behind a paywall.
Does it work offline?
The core of Commute is offline-first: published schedules, fare tables, station guides and map data are stored on your device. In a tunnel or out of signal you can still check times, fares and routes. Anything that genuinely needs the internet — like the community feed — simply waits until you’re back online.
Is this live train tracking?
No — and we won’t pretend otherwise. Commute shows the operators’ published timetables: scheduled departure times, not real-time train positions. Times can change when operators adjust services, so for a critical trip, a glance at the station board is still a good idea.
Which areas does Commute cover?
All of Jabodetabek — Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, Tangerang and Bekasi — across KRL Commuter Line, MRT Jakarta, LRT Jabodebek, LRT Jakarta and Transjakarta, plus the KA Lokal Pangrango (Bogor–Sukabumi) and Siliwangi corridors beyond the metro area.
Where does the data come from?
From the operators’ own published timetables and fare tables — the same numbers posted at stations. When a fare isn’t published anywhere, Commute says exactly that instead of guessing a price, and anything estimated is clearly labelled as estimated.
Do I need an account?
No. You can use schedules, fares, the planner, the map and reminders without ever signing in. An account is only needed to post in the community and to use Commute Premium.
